Choose Folsom Opts for Ripe & Bandwango

We couldn’t be more enthusiastic about our client Choose Folsom. This DMO is the conglomerate of different Greater Folsom Partnership organizations and they’re combining their efforts to encourage local economic impact.

Choose Folsom promotes the economic vitality, community prosperity, and quality of life for businesses, residents, and visitors.

Folsom’s Rainbow Bridge sits charmingly over the American River.

Folsom has seen some major development over the past few years and offers an impressive breadth of experiences to its visitors. A Sacramento-area suburb located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, Folsom has a small-town feel with increasingly more big-town amenities. The city’s rich history and outdoorsy activities make it easy to Choose Folsom.

These are some of Folsom’s most popular attractions:

The Folsom Prison Museum

Folsom Prison Blues was one of Johnny Cash’s most legendary songs. He famously recorded a live performance at its namesake institution in 1968. Folsom State Prison is California’s second-oldest prison and is still operating today. The prison has a dedicated museum attached to it and is just a couple of bucks to enter.

The Johnny Cash Trail

The Johnny Cash Trail is a newer Folsom attraction and was completed in 2017. It will eventually integrate an immersive public art experience honoring Johnny Cash’s career and influence on the city. If you want to deviate a bit from the Johnny Cash theme, you can check out some of the other trails in the 50+ miles of the Folsom network.

The Johnny Cash Trail not only offers an homage to the music legend but a connection to art and the outdoors.

Folsom Lake & Lake Natoma

For a city located in the drought-afflicted state of California, it may be surprising that Folsom has water – and lots of it. Folsom Lake and Lake Natoma are dedicated State Recreation Areas where people can boat, paddleboard, kayak, and camp.

Folsom Foothill Wine Tours

Choose Folsom curates the best winery tour experience for its visitors. The pass includes dozens of local participating wineries and visitors can choose one that is good for anywhere from one day to one year.

Did you know that Ripe integrates with Bandwango? Choose Folsom uses this integration for their wine tour passes to optimize their user experience while also promoting local experiences and economic impact. They currently use the platform to market 50% off a pass with any overnight stay.
