Who is RootRez

Who is RootRez?

RootRez is a Park City, Utah based software company that provides white-label booking engines. Founded in 2009, the company was built on the ideology of creating technology that was by hoteliers for hoteliers. We now power the booking engine for popular brands in a variety of industries, such as Destination Marketing Organizations, world-class events, ski & summer resorts, and more. Brands choose to either license our software and create their booking engine or employ us to manage and build all aspects of their lodging platform. In other words, we're the wizard behind the curtain for many white-label booking engines.

Do you offer full API integration?

Yes, we do offer full API Integration to those who want to self-host and control every aspect of the user experience. The RootRez API is a REST-based web service accepting and returning JSON payloads familiar to most developers. Your organization will interact with the same API that powers our white-label booking solutions. The API is fully documented, supported, unit-tested, and ready for your developers. For more information on building out API Integration, read our guide. This is an option for those who have a full development team. Most clients choose to use a RootRez-hosted booking engine.
